個人的にシンプルプランの良さがぎゅっと詰め込まれた一曲だと思ってます。
キャリアを重ねた、かつフランス語を母国語としてるおじさんたちが、簡単な英語で書いた恋の歌でパンクしてる！最高に愛おしいです。18日の新曲リリースも楽しみや。
ストレートな歌詞なので注釈は不要ですね。ただ、「いちゃつこうぜyeah！！」っていう風にのろけとるだけじゃないんですよねー。「他の恋愛とは俺のはわけが違う！」っていう絶対的な反骨精神というか少年っぽさが見えるの、かわいくないですか？年甲斐もないような。
「there’s nobody else for me」、普通「君以外の人はいない」という訳し方をするかと思いますが、「君以上の人はいない」と表現しました。
彼を突き動かしている存在。生きる糧。根底にあるもの。
